Tunisia coup: Kais Saied calls for return of ‘plundered public money’ as purge of officials continues

Tunisian President Kais Saied said more than 460 businessmen stole over $4.8 billion of public money and offered a "legal compromise" if they returned the money.

Saied’s remarks were the first on the economy since seizing control of the government, in a move described as a coup.
