Tunisian President Kais Saied said on Monday Tunisia would hold a constitutional referendum next July, a year after he seized broad powers. He also announced legislative elections in December 2022.
The announcement came months after Saied seized executive powers and suspended Tunisia's parliament in moves his opponents called a coup.
