Mohamed Morsi's son arrested in Egypt
The son of ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi was arrested on Wednesday at his home in Sharqiya, northeast of Cairo, reported Egyptian news sources.
Osama, a lawyer and the family’s spokesman, is reportedly the second of Morsi’s sons to be arrested since 2013.
“This is a new crime against the president’s family and a continuation of the abuse and violation of the president’s rights,” Osama's brother Ahmed was reported to have said by the Almogaz news website.

“We call on everyone to condemn what has just happened,” he added.
In November, an Egyptian appeals court quashed one of two life sentences against the former president, following the overturning of a death sentence by the same court earlier that month.
The Court of Cassation has reportedly begun reviewing a second life sentence against him in a separate trial on charges of stealing documents relating to national security and handing them over to Qatar, a longstanding supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Morsi's trial is one of thousands against members of the now outlawed Muslim Brotherhood and other opposition activists that have taken place since 2013.
He was ousted by a coup led by the then general and now President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in July 2013 following mass protests against his rule.
He was later sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole on charges arising from the alleged killing of protesters in December 2012 as well as being sentenced to 40 years on charges of spying for Qatar.
