Israel-Palestine war: Israeli forces kill Palestinian boy in West Bank raid
Israeli forces killed a 14-year-old Palestinian child on Tuesday during a raid near the occupied West Bank city of Tubas.
Amr Ahmed Jamil Wahdan was shot in the chest with live bullets, medical sources at the Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital have said, according to Wafa news agency.
Three other young men were also shot and wounded.
During the Israeli raid in Tubas, Israeli forces surrounded a home in the city to make an arrest, calling on those inside to surrender themselves.
Violent clashes erupted across the city between troops and Palestinian fighters.
The deadly raid followed a series of similar events across the West Bank, as Israeli military and settler violence against Palestinians surged following the war in Gaza.
At least 225 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers and settlers in the West Bank in 50 days. Over 3,000 have been detained.
Wahdan's death was announced a few hours after another boy was killed by Israeli forces in Kafr Ain, northwest of Ramallah.
Malek Majed Daghra, 17, was shot dead during a night raid into his town.
