Israeli forces killed three Palestinians during on overnight raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday, according to the Israeli military.

The military said its soldiers detained 14 "suspects" and located weapons and explosive devices "planted under routes in order to attack IDF soldiers".

At least one of the deaths was confirmed by the Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday morning.

Israeli troops stormed Jenin refugee camp after undercover officers raided two houses in the camp, sparking violent confrontations, Wafa news agency reported.

Arif Marwan Arif Ali, 26, was among those killed by Israeli forces during the raid, according to medical sources cited by Wafa.

The Israeli army said its troops came under fire during the raid and that an Israeli aircraft was used to target Palestinian fighters.

Israeli forces reportedly also destroyed infrastructure and properties in the city.

At least 400 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank since war broke out on 7 October, as Israel stepped up its near-daily raids.

In Gaza, the Israeli military has killed more than 29,300 Palestinians since the war began 137 days ago, and wounded over 69,300 others.

Around 7,000 are missing, believed to be dead and buried under rubble.
