Yousef Aljamal is an MA candidate at the Department of International and Strategic Studies and is a researcher at the Malaysia Middle East Studies Program at the University of Malaya. He was a contributor/translator of The Prisoners' Diaries: Palestinian Voices from the Israeli Gulag and co-author of Gaza Writes Back: Short Stories from Young Writers from Gaza, Palestine.
