Death toll in Gaza reaches 38,713

At least 38,713 Palestinians have been killed and 89,166 wounded in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since 7 October, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.
At least 49 people were killed and 69 wounded in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
