Here are some of the latest updates:

• At least 38,713 Palestinians have been killed and 89,166 wounded in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since 7 October, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement on Tuesday

• At least 18 people have been killed in an Israeli attack near tents housing displaced families in Khan Younis, while at least 25 more have been killed in an attack on a school in the Nuseirat camp

• 70 percent of Unrwa schools in Gaza have been bombed and that 539 people sheltering on its premises have been killed by Israel

• Israeli military bombs home in az-Zawayda, killing at least 7 in central Gaza 

• More than 700,000 people could be at risk from a “health and environmental crisis” as wastewater pumping stations in central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah city have stopped working due to a lack of fuel
