The UK is desperately attempting to stop refugees entering the country. Charles B. Anthony asks Guardian columnist and author Owen Jones how we should deal with this crisis. When the world is angrier about the killing of a lion in Zimbabwe than they are about refugees being forced to flee war, do we conclude that people care more about animals than they do their fellow human beings? And is there a link between the reaction to the plight of refugees and the Israeli settler violence that burned an 18-month-old toddler to death?
