Prince Mohammed bin Nayef will replace Moqren bin Abdul Aziz bin Saud
- 55 years old; grandson of Saudi founder King Abdulaziz and nephew of King Salman; would be first member of 3rd generation of Saud family to be king
- Was also named Saudi deputy prime minister on Tuesday
- Has served as country's interior minister since November 2012, a position he will retain
- Head of political and security council, a coordinating body
- Close ties to the US
- Al-Qaeda attempted to kill him in 2009

Adel Jubeir replaces Saud al-Faisal, formerly the world’s longest-serving foreign minister
- 53 years old; not a member of the ruling Al-Saud family, second non-royal ever to be appointed foreign minister
- Educated in the US, Jubeir most recently served as Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Washington
- Has worked in US diplomatic circles since 1987, has strong ties to Obama, Capitol Hill and influential think tanks
- Subject in 2011 of an assassination plot allegedly forged by Iran
HEALTH MINISTER
Saudi Aramco CEO Khalid Al-Falih replaces Mohammed bin Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Ash-Sheikh
-Al-Falih was also named Chairman of Saudi Aramco on Tuesday, replacing Oil Minister al-Naimi who held the position; a replacement for Al-Falih's CEO position at Aramco has not been announced
-Has served at CEO and President of Saudi Aramco since January 2009, has a 30-year career with company
ECONOMY & PLANNING MINISTER
Adel Fakieh replaces Mohammed bin Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al-Jasser
-Had been serving as Minister of Labour since 2010
-Served for several months last year as Minister of Health
-Former mayor of Jeddah
