US dictionary Myriam Webster has called on its users to stop “fascism” becoming the 'word of the year'
The word of the year is based on percentage of searches on the dictionary's website. “Fascism” is in pole position
People chipped in suggesting merrier suggestions users could look up
One person wished for a time machine
Merriam-Webster offered their own suggestion
It wasn't long before it entered the top 10
But what does it mean?

Cambridge Dictionary went for 'paranoid'
Collins Dictionary opted for 'Brexit'
And Oxford Dictionary opted for 'post-truth'
