Families in Gaza try to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, the festival at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, among the continued bombardment by the Israeli army.
On day the 22nd day of Israel's Operation Protective Edge, at least 47 Palestinians are thought to have been killed, according to the Gazan Health Ministry.
Palestinian Muslims attempt to maintain a semblence of normalcy in spite of the continuing violence - however, with many friends and relatives dead and injured, for many this Eid will be one of mourning rather than celebration.
