Number of Palestinians killed by Israel rises to 38,794

At least 38,794 people have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, the Palestinian health ministry said on Wednesday.
The toll includes 81 deaths in the past 24 hours, a ministry statement read.
Additionally, 89,364 people have been wounded since Israel launched its war on Gaza on 7 October 2023.
