Alessandro Accorsi is an Italian freelance journalist based in Cairo. Before moving to Egypt, he spent time as a student and researcher in Syria and Palestine. He is a co-founder of Zeer News, a news agency of freelancers which produces articles, analysis, investigative reports, videos and short-documentaries in English, Italian, Spanish and French for, among others, Al Jazeera, The Atlantic, The Daily Beast, The Economist, Esquire, Europa, Limes, Pagina99, RAI News 24 and Repubblica.
