Andrew Farrand is the translator of Inside the Battle of Algiers by Zohra Drif (Just World Books, 2017) and author of The Algerian Dream (forthcoming 2020). From 2013 to 2020, he lived in Algiers, Algeria, working to implement youth development programs across the country. A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, he is proficient in French and Arabic and writes at Ibn Ibn Battuta.
