Thessa Lageman is a journalist, writer and photographer, based in The Hague, the Netherlands. She lived in Cairo, Kuwait and Tunis and holds an MA in Arabic and a postgraduate diploma in journalism. She has written for The Guardian, NPR, Al Jazeera, BBC, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, among others.
