Most recently you may have seen British-Egyptian actor Khalid Abdalla in the Netflix hit series ‘The Crown’ where he played Dodi al-Fayed, the Egyptian film producer, romantically involved with Princess Diana before the pair died in a car crash in 1997.
But Abdalla's also made headlines for calling for a ceasefire in Gaza at different red-carpet events, a gesture that has gone viral on social media.
So we sat down to discuss not only his work in ‘The Crown’, but also to ask why is it hard to speak out on Israel-Palestine?
