Andrey X fled Russia for Israel. Now he documents settler violence against Palestinians
After fleeing Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine, Andrey X settled in Israel and obtained Israeli citizenship. He soon became aware of the privileges afforded to him as an Israeli citizen and the “lawlessness” experienced by Palestinians, especially in the occupied West Bank.
Now, he documents and films settler violence in the occupied West Bank, where the UN has recorded at least 650 Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians since October 7 2023.
