Egypt: Election commission’s call to prosecute 45 million people criticised online

Egypt's election commission said it would refer around 45 million citizens who did not vote in this month's Senate elections to the country's prosecutors.

The decision has been criticised online with some saying it’s a means for the government to fine people and collect money.
