Egyptian activist Sanaa Seif is sentenced to a year and 6 months in prison

Egyptian activist and film editor Sanaa Seif has been sentenced to a year and 6 months in prison on charges of spreading fake news.

The 27 year-old was arrested in June last year in front of the public prosecutor’s office in Cairo when she arrived to file a complaint of physical assault.
