Sisters of Egyptian-British activist Alaa Abdel Fattah ask UK foreign office to secure his release

The sisters of jailed Egyptian-British activist Alaa Abdel Fattah have staged a sit-in outside the UK Foreign Office since Tuesday, urging foreign secretary James Cleverly to take action to secure his release.

Abdel Fattah has been on hunger strike for more than 200 days, and is now in his third year in jail.
