Turkey’s Erdogan says two-state solution is the only option for Cyprus

Turkish President Erdogan said on Wednesday that the only solution to resolve decades of conflict in Cyprus is to establish two states on the island.

The island split in 1974 following a Turkish invasion triggered by a Greek military coup.
