33 Turkish soldiers killed in Syrian air raid in major Idlib escalation

At least 33 Turkish soldiers have been killed in a Syrian government air raid in Idlib province.

It’s the deadliest single day suffered by Turkey since it intervened in Syria in 2016, risking a major escalation between Ankara and the Russian-backed Syrian government.
