Palestinian families flee ongoing crackdown in Jenin

Around 3,000 Palestinian civilians fled their homes in the Jenin refugee camp as Israel's large-scale military campaign entered its second day. Israeli forces fired tear gas at Palestinian families, many of whom carried young children, as they attempted to escape.

The Jenin camp, which lies at the heart of the city, is half a square kilometre in size and is home to almost 14,000 refugees many of whom are being displaced for yet another time.
