Police carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious car outside the Israeli embassy in central London on Wednesday night.
Ahead of the explosion, hundreds of commuters were reportedly evacuated in the area around High Street Kensington Tube station close to the embassy which is less than 100 metres from Kensington Palace.
Suspicions were reportedly raised by what has been described as a package - but were reportedly personal belongings - left in a silver Volkswagen Passat, the Daily Mail has reported.
